This year’s third annual Girls Just Wanna’ Have Fun event hosted by the Cary Grove Area Chamber of Commerce brought a record 300 local women consumers to the Crystal Lake Holiday Inn for a fun evening of interaction with area business owners. The event featured nearly 50 vendors who had an opportunity to promote their products and services to female decision makers who live in our area.

“This event has been such a big draw the last few years that our vendor booths sell out in a matter of days and our ticket sales quickly follow,” said Cary Grove Chamber Executive Director Suzanne Corr. “This is a girls outing with a purpose, to educate our local women about the dynamic array of products and services we offer right in our own community.”

Tickets to the event were just $20 and included a performance by Vegas comedian Tim Walkoe, a free drink ticket, complimentary appetizers, a complimentary wine tasting by Teddy’s Liquors , free door prizes all night long, and shopping with nearly 50 vendors The event was sponsored by Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital, Sam’s Club, Smith & Associates, Sage Products, Inc., C the Possibilities, Cary Area Public Library, Cary Physical Therapy, and Gypsy Glen K-9 Kastle Pet Resort.
